Fright Nights, the „ultimate Festival of Fear” is in it’s 6th year. And for the first time, from october 25th until 31st we are in our capital Vienna this year at an historic place: The probably oldest Cinema in the World.
Since 2005, our Horrormovie-Festival „Fright Nights“ serves dishes for genrefans and defines a wonderful place for shivers of fear and high grade thrills. One of many reasons for the great success of the festival, is the fact, that we have no fears of contact when we choose movies. We have never underestimated our audience, neither the intellectual value nor the factor of fun.
Beside successful Mainstream-Productions, Trashmovies from amateurs and movies which didn’t find their way to the big cinemas because of their Gore-factor, have their place at our festival. Since foundation of the festival 145 movies from 19 different countries were presented.
More than 40 of them have won the „silberne Hand“ out of 10 different categories.
„Fright Nights“ and the „silberne Hand“ are today real trademarks in the world of horror movies.
This year we wish all our visitors an interesting and scary week (WARNING: Paranormal activities CAN happen in this historical cinema) and much fun at Fright Nights 2010.
